As some of you probably know by now, I am a big supporter of Mac’s built in features and applications. However, I do use some third party software to help with my productivity but not much. Also, some people are dissatisfied with some of Mac’s built in features, but I am quite satisfied and can always find a hidden feature to make it work. DIY Daily Planner With iCal

Many of you probably know by now that you can print to-do lists, events, schedules, and full calendars from iCal. But you may not have thought of using iCal to roll your own planner. I am an electronic junkie, but when it comes to schedules, events, to-do lists, and all that jazz, I prefer to write it down.
This is because I love working with pen and paper. If someone gave me a ton of paper and pens for Christmas, I would be happier than a hog in slop. Yes, I know, I am a dork, but you can only do so much with your schedule and to-do lists with an electronic device. Read more

The Keyboard + Quicksilver = Productivity

I have only been a mac user for about two months. However, switching from a PC to a Mac was easy for me. It is probably due to the fact that I am a techie. Also, I am a huge supporter in keeping with the mac philosophy of productivity. So then, using the keyboard to do work quicker and efficiently is up my alley. Read more

Instant Magnification

I just discovered something cool this morning, however, you might already know this. If you have scrolling enabled for your trackpad, just position your cursor to anything on your screen (i.e. a word or app), hold down the control key while moving your fingers up and down on the trackpad, and voila, instant magnification.
